Found on VW Golf 3, Golf 4, Passat B4/B5, Sharan, Audi A3 8L, A4 B5, A6 C5, Seat Ibiza, Leon, Toledo, Cordoba, Alhambra, Skoda Octavia 1 and Ford Galaxy, among others.
These seals are not suitable for 1.9 TDI unit injector (PD) engines or common rail engines.

Why replace your injector seals?

The injector seal sits directly against the combustion chamber. Heat and pressure crush it over time until it no longer seals properly. A worn or reused seal can cause compression leaks around the injector, black carbon deposits in the injector bore, a ticking or puffing noise when the engine is hot, exhaust smell in the engine bay, and reduced combustion efficiency.
Whether you’re doing a simple check, a pressure setting, an upgrade to bigger injectors or a full build, new seals are a must every time you reinstall your injectors.

Tip

Thoroughly clean the injector bore and the seating surface on the cylinder head before fitting the new seal: even the slightest carbon residue will compromise the seal. Torque the injector clamp to the specified value.
