With a spring rate twice the stock average, it can run with zero preload up to 1.3 bar: it only needs preloading beyond 1.3 bar. The result is perfectly linear behavior up to 1.3 bar and near-linear up to 2 bar, without overcompensation (a taper that's too fast and causes smoke).
It also prevents accidental binding. Adding more and more preload to a stock spring drastically cuts its travel, and often ruins the LDA's travel without you noticing.
Same dimensions as stock, direct replacement for the original spring.
